Malakai is a good super player but not so much an AB. There's plenty of options out there, Ngatai for me has to be there and Moala is a shout in too. They're a little bit older than young guns and have their caps but 29 come WC time is fine. You'd suspect Crotty will be in and around the ABs too.
And Maybe Crotty is the answer...He can be the Conrad and just tackle his heart out. see my post above yours...
He's huge!!! 2m tall and 115kgs, to have pace like that with that size is huge. Will he play NPC this year?
It depends on a) How fast they can rush him over here b) What position they transition him into. Remember he has been playing league the last few years so his rugby technical/positional skils will be rusty as. He could probably go on the wing right away but they are talking about him going lock or number 8 though
Malakai is a phenomenal player, he just needs some more time to grow as well. Remember that this is only his 3rd full season in Super Rugby. Him and SBW will make a very good centre pairing with enough exposure as a combination. Crotty or Moala ought to be the back up, unless some young gun really pops out somewhere, but I think that Ranger is out of the running. As for the wingers, it will defo be Naholo who replaces NMS with Ben Smith at 15. If NMS is fit again, he will surely be back in the mix as a utility player in the mould of a Cory Jane when he was at his best. Again Moala pops up as a replacement wing / centre utility player.
Pretty significant actually. I have never ever seen a 6'7" back on any rugby field in my life. He's taller than most locks outside of international and first-class rugby.
Bit late but I had the Canes to score over 3.5 tries and over 26 points. Bit late now but easy win. Hit the Blues up at $1.50 and Landers +6 or whatever you see fit at about the same odds.
