Wow. First ever for the Rebels in EnZed. Superb defensive effort from the Vics. Crusaders were dire; why the bloody hell they didn't take an obviously injured Carter off is beyond me. Yeah, they'd hooked Taylor just before but Slade could easily slot in at 10.
Yeah it was silly. Crusaders are always slow off the blocks (lose the first few) but you'd think they'd get past the Rebels. Pretty happy tbh - hate the Saders and Rebels showing some class is good for the comp.

Horwill is such a hack. No idea how he ever captained the Wobblies. Thought White's try pretty much summed it up; Genia sleeping and paid the price. Quite the fall from grace for the little PNGer. Well Lions have had all the ball but very positive signs for the Canes who have been tackling well (Hurricanes of old would have let so many tries in) and we have the lead 11-8 at half time! albeit from the Lions not taking their chances. That's another thing, the little ball we've had, we've come up with points. Just hoping we get to play a bit in the 2nd. Discipline has been a lil iffy tstl.
Hurricanes win!!! Well worth getting up for. Gotta ask wtf the Lions were doing kciking for touch instead of taking the 3's during the match. Things are looking good for us. Barely any ball (especially in the 1st) yet we were leading basically the whole game.
