Pulu lost the game. I question this new age decision to give all the replacements a run no matter what.
SANZAR have announced that New Zealand's Glen Jackson and South Africa's Jaco Peyper will be the officials in charge of the Super Rugby Semi-finals. Jackson will be the official in Christchurch, where the Crusaders host the Sharks while over in Sydney Peyper will take charge of the Australian derby Semi-final between the Waratahs and the Brumbies.
Fuark, the Sharks made me sweat there for a while. Shown some grit to get up in the end. And, dat scrum domination!
Been a great defensive effort from the Tahs, to (grudgingly) give credit where it's due. The Brumbies' game management not always fantastic tho, but.
My rant on Lealiifano: He has had such a horrible return after his last injury. McCabe imo is a superior player and was in better form as of late, yet has to keep playing from the bench because Lealiifano is the supposed first choice kicker, wtf!? He has been kicking shit the whole season - 27 successful and 26 unsuccessful kicks - and both Toomua - 2 succ and 0 unsucc - and White - 39 succ and 15 unsucc - had better success rates. So why pick him if he is not the best available player in that position or the best kicker!? Fucking idiotic management. Anyway, good wins for the Tahs and Saders. Should be a good final.
I think the Crusader have this. The Waratahs are like the Stormers, Sharks and Hurricanes. Bridesmaids. Sad (for supporters of all those teams), but true. Hey, it could be worse, you could be a Kings supporter. That's what I keep telling myself.
More fool those that didn't go. This has been a wide open and entertaining game. Certainly good value for money and surely a good advert to rugby sceptics.
If you don't like this game, you'll never like rugby. It's been open and entertaining - especially for a grand final. If there's been one weak point, it's been the defensive work. So many missed tackles.
