    Super Rugby - for those people who pretend to support a team/ the game but really have NFI about rugby or anything.

    Oh, give over. You kill a tournament by forcing players to play up to three times in a week and trying to get crowds to come out on a fucking Tuesday night. The ever expanding Super Rugby tournament which seems to grow by a month every second season is a joke. I tell you what, mate, there won't be a production line of players into Super Rugby if the NPC is killed off by this continual sidelining of the tournament.

    And also to the contrary of your post, the Heartlands Championship is fine as it is - playing once a week on a Saturday. It's the ITM Cup that's being whipped into an ever shorter playing window to accommodate more plastic-fantastic shite.

    Official Answer:

    He is a success story.
    He shone in a heartlands final that was televised - and made his way on to the Hawkes Bay NPC team. He is a solid player. He belongs at that level. But not at Super 15 level.
    The system is working for him.
