    Watched the final without the distraction of the internets. Thought Robbie Robinson had a great performance for an often erratic player. I must say though, that I love Sona Taumalolo. The guy is a legend.

    About a month ago, the SA board replaced the Lions with the Kings for next season - so its still Super 15.

    Hmm, interesting. It'll be interesting to see who they pick for AB's captain.....I'm gonna say Read (since he's still youngish compared to the likes of Carter, Conrad Smith etc.) surely they'll pick the captain for the future?

    I wonder if he'll be the same player after his sabbatical. I remember John Kirwan going to Japan for 6 months? And he was quite crappy for months (half a season) when he returned before finally getting it together again.

    Translation Super Rugby is taking attention away from heartland rugby. :)

    Seriously yes it has put less emphasis on the ITM cup. But there are hidden benefits of super rugby such as giving international exposure and a higher standard of rugby to a wider group of players.
