    If they want to play Wighton in the centres, Crichton shouldn't be in the side.

    For their 14 they should go with Koroisau for some spark out of acting half in case Cook doesn't get going or Nicho to inject some attacking flair.

    Wighton could come off after 5 minutes and some people would still say 'oh yeah, Wighton, he played pretty well.' Been happening for years. Does nothing, gets a pass mark cause....reasons.

    Cunt has done literally nothing in Origin at centre. Gagai gave him a bath last time.

    I dont think Crichton is overly brilliant either tbh tho.

    Andrew Johns saying NSW have no advantage on paper is a pisstake. The gap isnt huge, but they literally have us covered forwards, outside backs and halves.

    What? Our centre depth is good which is why it's baffling he's going with Wighton there again. Crichton off the bench is kind of stupid too, hopefully they swap before kickoff.

    To'o and Tupou great choices for wings. After Weight on was embarrassed by Gagai last time round I don't know how you can pick him in the centres, especially when you've got the likes of Lomax eligible and looking class for 2-3 seasons now.

    What a shame Joey Manu is a kiwi ....

    I mean my comment was pre-Fittler tarding it up. Given we were on track for Mitchell+Turbo centres, Staggs and (at the time) Crichton were amongst the best of the rest (Campbell Graham the only other one really in the picture right, we don't have a huge amount of centre depth remaining).

    Yeah Lomax is another to throw in the mix. Absolutely insane that there are three or four 22-23 year olds who are looking solid AF and they are looking to Wighton.

    So many young promising 2nd row options and we didn't even select one. I really worry about what we will offer on the edges, 2nd rowers and centres lack a lot to be desired.

    So many bad selections and everyone is so focussed on Addo-Carr being dropped.

    Jacob Saifiiti even if he's been selected as a future prospect is just a horrendous choice.

    Crichton on the bench? Fuck me will be a tough game 1 to watch.

    I'm actually pretty worried that Crichton is in there, positionally he's shocking on the wing and I just do not rate him at fullback, so if there's an injury he'll significantly hamper either position.


    Still blown away someone like Koloamatangi doesn't get a start in the second row. Also think along similar lines to Tartmaster regarding saifiti

    Assuming Freddy doesn't come to his senses and switch Wighton to the bench before kickoff how is Critta going to be used assuming no back line injuries? Surely he's not on to play in the middle but is the plan to hook Jack or move him to the middle?

    I don't understand the obsession with having fullback/centre cover on the bench. What happened to moving an edge forward to centre if someone in the back 5 gets injured?

    What's Freddies plan if Cook get's HIA'd in the opening 20mins?

    So stupid isn't it, especially in this age of HIA's, most danger is in the tackle and your hooker makes the most of them. Need the cover there.

    The other stupid part about playing a centre as your bench utility is coaches feel the need to put them on even if there's not injury and most of the time they end up weakening the teams structure by throwing backs in at lock or similar.
