Joel has played for NSW and Australia so picking him was hypothetically going to cause the least disruptions as he has been there and done it before.
So you would want a player to debut in origin in a decider in QLD and with half a camp preparation? What is Jennings strike rate for origin tries? We know you're serious about that backline, and that's why we're serious about you being a moron. Your backline might score 3 or 4 tries, but they will also concede 4 or 5 more than your one from Wednesday night.
Let's go with 1. Hayne 2. Merrit 3. Jennings 4. Lawrence 5. Morris 6. Soward 7. Pearce Mad pace, attack the shit out of them.
i think thats exactly what they need, and just pick the biggest and meanest pack and dont pick on form just pick the biggest pack you can and just mash them
I can't say I was entirely serious. Although I think there is some merit in playing Jennings on the other wing. That could just be me being bias though.
I agree with almost everything you say M_F, but Lawrence is not a bad defender by any means. His technique may be a bit lacking, but he still gets the job done and doesn't miss many tackles nor ever put us under pressure. In fact, he does a great job considering he defends next to Benji.
Lawrence's defence is fine. It's not something you'd pick him specifically for, but it's not a liability. He's still a shit **** though. So sick of hearing about him, Jennings and Josh Morris. NSW would be well served if they all retired tomorrow.
Yeah and you'd take Lawrence ahead of Jennings. That makes you just as biased as him. They are players or similar quality and you've both clearly formed your opinions on based on which team you happen to follow. Face it and move on; don't have another dire Lukic/Hughesy argument in here.
Right, really sick of deleting posts about Jennings v Lawrence. Go start a new thread if you want to talk about it.
Where is Joel Thompson from? I like that kid, has a lot of potential. Could be a possibility in the future.
