Ice Pumas GK: J Ono D: Aaron Hunt D: Luke Pilgrim LW: Scott Flack C: Ameya Shreyas RW: Mascurss Deane Ice Hurricanes GK: Matt Dorn D: Chris Golding D: Ed Ames LW: John Thornton C: Sam Verigotta Nuh, it's Razz Fittaman, tbph. RW: Jake Luffman Round 5 brings us back to the Ice Mountains again for the battle of the the bottom table. 6th at home to 5th. A win here for the Ice Pumas will see them off the bottom of the table, while a win for the Ice Hurricanes will give them space and push them right back into the midfield. Will the Hurricanes finally score?!
Really hoping I can actually do something today. Also hoping Thornton can give me some selection problems.
End of 1st Period: Ice Pumas 0, Ice Hurricanes 0 No score here yet, but the Pumas have been very purposeful in their attacks, they're not just shooting at first sight of goal, they've put a lot of passes together trying to break the defence and pressure the keeper. The Ice Hurricanes on the other hand have been fast to shoot, Fittaman having quite a few shots that weren't really on, they seem desperate to get their first goal.
End of 2nd Period Ice Pumas 0, Ice Hurricanes 0 Ice Pumas still looking better, but Golding is make it hard for them, he's been terrorizing their forwards this period, breaking up their attacks well.
Is it alright if you're dropped for today? You've played 6 out of 6 Hurricanes games so far; and you'll be playing again next round unless I do something special or play very well.
