    Crabs, Gamblers and Immortals with full first XVs and decent progress towards a reserve XV.

    Canes and Vikings close to filling their first XVs, but still a way to go with the reserves.

    Sharks looking poked. So much so, that I'm seriously considering folding them - but the problem is no one was interested in running a new team previously, and why would they be now that most of the decent players have been snapped up. Sharks might just have to run with fillers for this season and then fold at the end.

    Thats basically what I want to do. I don't really want to run a team where everyone's already inactive and there's not a lot of reasons for the active ones to consider resigning. If we can keep a bunch of our uncontracted players we can at least put out a team for the 4 members or so that are actually still on the forum (even half our contracted players are basically inactive) for a season.

    The only alternative, perhaps, is to let the Cnuts be the reserve team of the Sharks. That'd strip 2 from the Hurricanes, 1 from the Immortals and 3 from the Vikings. I'd have to think about the consequences a bit, and the Canes and Vikings would both then be a fair way from getting a full line up, so that might have to be the fallback position if both of them can get a reasonable looking squad together.

    Would it make sense to run with 5 clubs plus a side of real life players eg Barbarians to avoid a bye like cribbage did with Ireland in early cricsim?
