Looks like we're going to need another influx of new players to get this working. Happy to take suggestions from people but having six teams of 30 players each is non-negotiable.

Hurricane suggested hitting up a specific rugby forum to see if there's interest - and I'm happy for others to do this. Whilst I'm writing the new version of the sim though, it would be very helpful for others to do some leg work if you want to see season 6 happen.

 

We can give that a go, but ultimately we'll need some of them to sign up on here. So, if it's a way of getting them interested then go for it.

That might be a good starting point. We could even have a small inter-season 3 way tournament between CricSim Rookies, Planet Rugby and TSF if you get enough sign-ups.

Maybe point them to the live sim page and the game that's currently finished to show them how it looks?

Your second point - I think you can be upfront. Just say that a league is run on another website, that we're happy to run some games on there but that it is unlikely there'll be enough interest to run a league on TSF, but if there were ultimately more than 15 players interested, then they could enter a team in the league on here for which they'd have more success if they registered here. As the Cnuts have shown, there's no necessity to register here per se.
