He's definitely needed at the Cyclones as well though, they were comfortably the worst side last season.
Up until Cribb announced that inactives were eligible, I thought that there was a serious chance that I could end up opening the bowling.
That's the spirit at least Stickies have to look forward to being the best at being the worst next season.
Zakaron, Roaddogg, Sullo and Jake have all been around the forum and should sign. Don't know why you think you'd open ahead of those guys.
Think it's time for me to head the Cricsim Contract Court. Been dogged when you thought a player has signed? Fret no more, provide evidence of an agreement and you've got a case.
I've got no hesitation in admitting we're more fucked than I think we've ever been, largely because it's at a point where I don't really care much about it. We'll probably be relying on loyalty from blokes like myself, Magic and Alessi to provide runs, and the same thing from Zakaron, Roaddogg and Ged for.the bowling.
Don't think I didn't take this into consideration. Initially I didn't really consider moving too much but thought about it and laid some provisions out which would strengthen the Clones alongside me coming. Subsequently these provisions couldn't be met (not to date anyway) but by that stage I had already changed my mind to make the move. It was worth still laying the provisions out as I/ the club would be better off for it but wasn't the end of the world, unbeknownst to them as I was wanting to sign regardless. No I'm not going to divulge what all the provisions were but will say one was that I got a timely response so I could tell the Stickies as quickly as possible so you'd have more time to not end up being "left at the knees". There's something about wanting to get a bottom ranked team to the top and watching the gradual improvement. It's honestly no hard feelings. Will take a while getting use to seeing Cyclones colors as my name.
