It's been exaggerated further by the fact that our Season 1-8 fast bowling champs have largely gone inactive and declined. Bullpitt, Man and Tyson were the Test pace attack for bloody ages, and that was only eventually broken up by Farny who has also gone inactive now. On the flip side, Wilson, Hunt and Taylor are still active enough to maintain awesomeness, and Ged's still active enough to stay first grade standard at least. We started seeing the emergence of Riddy and Davis last season and I think we'll start to see Howe and Faithful coming through as top-line quicks too.
Faithful is already there as an allrounder. If it weren't for Weaver he'd be a shout for the Test side.
Yeah I'd rate them pretty highly as far as opening bowling combinations went. 1. Vipers (Eggman/Weaver) 2. Allstars (Funkotron/Davis) 3. Stingrays (James/Cambridge) 4. Pumas (Flack/Diggler) 5. Ravens (Faithful/Chung) 6. Crusaders (Ridd/one of their other seamers) 7. Gamblers (Tyson/Rocker) 8. Stickies (Izett/Laing) 9. Cyclones (Edwards/TBA)
Flack is way better at bowling these days than people realise; definitely a better bowler than any of the blokes listed below him other than Riddy. Diggler could be a BS flop in which case they'd drop down a few spots but I think he'll do well.

Flack > Chung = Faithful > Diggler. Unless we're talking about rep cricket of course in which case Faithful grows an extra three arms and is the best cricketer in the history of the game.
