SEASON 12 GAP:MISTAKES FROM THE PAST ABOUT THE FUTURE STALL THE PRESENT

2 months have gone by since the last cricsimmage and it seems everyone has just accepted it as part of the of the cricsim cycle. Sure there's been gaps and breaks before, but why now and why so long? Laziness? Furniture re arrangement? A woman?

The answer cricsim, is Incey.

Several months ago when expansion was decided as the way forward for cricsim, the ever autocratic RG Cribb decided that the only path to take in regards to expansion was BC Jacobs formally failed club, the Lions.

Despite the emergence of stronger bids, it was not up for debate and Incey was given the task of getting the club off the ground with inclusion set for Season 13. A friend close to the source has spoken of Inceys struggles to garner any real interest in the club and player commitments were rumoured to be 3 in total after the clubs major drive. BC Jacobs is then rumoured to have contacted Cribb telling him he saw no option but to withdraw the Lions bid.

This was displeasing to the site owner, who would not accept the withdrawal and urged BC Jacobs to continue with the bid, assuring him that there would be ample players to sign up as he would stop banning bots and allow them to be signed as squad members.

Following this BC Jacobs, feeling an overwhelming sense of shame, deserted the forum, leaving the bid up in the air. At the time this was seen as no big drama, as the season 13 was still far away in the future and surely something would come up between now and then.


Jump forward to June 2013, rival bid, Catfish Cricket Club, had secured the signatures of 20 players for season 13 and was waiting to unveil their rebel bid on the eve on season 12 finals. Upon catching wind of this and realising that BC Jacobs may not be around to launch a Lions counter bid and players list, Cribb suspended all simmage, essentially halting all things cricsim until an undisclosed time, issuing the following statement:

So there you have it. In a massive effort to avoid having to admit that the Catfish Cricket Club is the only way forward for cricsim and that the Lions were always going to be a failure, Cribb has suspended multiple simulated competitions. Resulting in the entire forum descending into chaos, the Firus is rampant through out particular subforums and racism and bickering is at an all time high due to lack of simmage distractions.

Incey isn't coming back, so the only way to get simmage going again is to join me in getting the Catfish Cricket Club accepted for season 13.

Can't even muster 20 posts to revolt against a lazy Cribb and yet hundreds are going down daily in the direness section.

We've got to unite here people and remember what we're all here for, simmage and to get under Cribbs skin, not debate foreheads and virginity.
