We were awful but man what a win. The atmosphere was incredible the whole game. We really did our best to get the Dragons back into that game, some of the errors that we do are just comically stupid. The Dragons did a great job in reading our attack. Especially in the wet, Gordon had no chance of getting the pass away after Keary passes it behind our runner. They really should have read the fact that the Dragons are rushing in and kicked in behind the winger. Also, just like when Jennings was at centre, for some reason we just don't want to give the speedster the ball. Manu touched the ball twice the whole game. We just insisted on going down the other side. Also, I cannot wait until I don't have to see Guerra in a Roosters jersey any more. The guy is a joke. That tackle effort on Thompson was worse than some of the park footy I've refereed.
I've been saying since way before a ball was kicked that Roosters should be favourites for the competition. But in 2017 you're not going to win a comp with: 1 Gordon 2 Ferguson 3 SKD 4 Manu 5 Tupou IMO
I don't think we will win the comp either but I think the only glaring issue with this backline in general is our right edge defense. SKD, Fergo (and Guerra) just do not know what they are doing. Our attack is good enough to outscore any team. If we stopped making stupid errors and clocking off for periods of the game we would be winning a lot more convincingly. Those issues are easily rectified but they won't be because its just what we do.
Yeah he's probably taken over Ennis' mantle as the player of most importance to their teams' chances in the NRL.
I can't believe they spent all day searching for Napa's missing teeth after the game and found them. lol
