Yeah Kenny's a decent bench option or starting prop a bit I suppose but as a forward leader no way. Thaiday is also pretty shit now tbh.
Just from the game(I missed from the 35th-45th) I thought Beale was ****ing terrible. He missed about 5 tackles in the first 5 minutes. I think he needs to be dropped to show people that if they **** up once they will be cut.
Yep, that's exactly what we need to do. All these 19-21 year olds should be able to play near perfect games by now (I mean, some of them have played 5 games already!) and the only way to ensure success is to make sure that they know if they try something, it has to come off, otherwise they'll be back in the Q cup.
Should players be kept in the NRL side when competition for spots is on after they have a terrible game and cost the team 2 tries in the first 10? NO!
I realise the two posts had slightly different points, but I think it still works in Beale's case. He was chosen as a first choice (or second choice, behind Hodges) centre at the start of the season, and it should take more than a bad 10 minutes, or one bad game, for him to lose that spot. Funnily enough, I actually disagree with both comments in their respective contexts.
That is a severely different point. You're saying Beale should be kept because he is young, that is such a cop out. I have patience for the young guys coming through, but the defensive display he showed tonight made me sick.
Nah, I'm saying Beale should be kept because he's only played 2 games this season. I do also think that if a team's going to commit/rely on having so many youngsters coming through, as the Broncos have, you're going to have to put up with a fair bit of inconsistency, but that's not really relevant at this stage.
Scott Anderson was gun... don't get why he didn't play longer minutes? Looked like Henjak had already organised the timing of his substitutions well before the game kicked off... normal for Henjack?
The wrong team was picked. That is normal for Henjack. His performance was below inconsistent. It was a disgrace.
Yeah Brisbane were pretty meh. They seem to be really shitty at MDNF games. Won 2 of their last 7 or 8. I actually thought Thaiday wasn't that bad. He was involved in ****ing everything. Had something like 25 hitups. I found it pretty funny that in the last attacking set for the Broncos where they had 6 in the Raiders half, the man the needed most was out the back of play stretching his legs for 4 tackles.
Who said he was bad? He was awesome. In other news, Dallas Johnson has changed his name to Shaun Fensom and signed for Canberra.
