Don't see why you'd honestly give a fuck about the difference between averaging 18 or 25 with the ball at the end of the season; it's still a very good return either way, especially since you probably won't be bowling much this season. Much better for your batting to improve, even if just by a little bit.
Yeah this happens to me quite often as well. Often out for 0 in the other innings if I hit a hundred.
