So good to see JT handing out his headgear to a kid even when down by 14 after a rubbish first half.

I hate mid-field bombs with a passion. I don't get the fascination some teams have with it. Especially when JT does such great stab-kicks over the defence. JT's kicking game in general was poor by his standards, which makes me wonder if he was carrying a leg injury of some sort.

Only mid-field bomb I will support are those ones GI used to do when he was at the Storm. No-one wanted to touch them. Snake probably still has nightmares.

Shame a hit like this would rub a player out for around a year in this day and age...

I don't mind the spiral ones that often swirl and can lead to errors but the the end over end mid field bombs to me seem rather pointless at least when he does them constantly. Sometimes it's just better to put in a field position kick rather than an attacking one. I guess its what happens when down on the scoreboard it tends to lead to the team trying to score every play instead of playing with discipline, patience and just play the percentages.

Yeah midfield bombs are the most overused, rubbishy kicks in the game. For every well executed one that gives the chasers time to nail the catcher, there are 5 that simply hand cheap field position to the opposition. We can once again thank the 7 tackle restart for making the game shitter.
