I don't think he will be the starter, but he will be there (confirmed in selection for the Rugby Championship).
Sooooooo, looking back at my predictions for the squad, I was wrong with 3 players being: - Marcell Coetzee losing out. Willem Alberts is going and I didn't have him on my list. Kolisi being picked in Coetzee's place, because we needed more black players in the squad. Rubbish selection. - Francois Hougaard also not going. Rudy Paige selected in his place. Again because of colour, no other reason. Rubbish selection. - I had Flip vd Merwe on my list, but Lood de Jager is going. Good selection. What I feel most sad about is the exclusion of Coetzee and Frans Steyn. You could also argue a case for Brussouw, although he would be behind Coetzee in the queue for me and would miss out to Louw as well whom imo is a superior player and conditioned to the Northern hemisphere.
Took too many back row, not enough front row. Croft didn't get up at the end of the season like he normally does Cipriani ahead of Goode and I kinda stand by that Too may wings Centres completely wrong that was always kind of a lottery
