Where did I park my car?

    Agree with Julian. Good stuff.

That's what I tell people too. No one should jump the gun just yet about how good he is until he actually shows it next year.
First glance I didn't like these designs but I don't mind them now. The previous away jersey looked rather bland.

The design is terrible. The V looks fucking horrible. The Toyota logo is ridiculously oversized.

Simple is good. I like simple. But they've managed to fuck up simple which is not an easy thing to do. This is simple done properly:

I always look forward to heritage round because most clubs have, IMO, much better jerseys than their real ones. I hate modern jerseys.

Did Toyota increase their sponsorship or something?

I liked the design the Cowboys had on their home jersey from 03 up to 07 the most.

I've always loved this guy's work. I don't like everything he does; for example his primary Cowboys jersey looks more like a polo shirt than a RL jersery but generally speaking he has a great reverence for tradition (as you can tell if you go on his site and look how he includes attempts at jerseys from bygone eras) and a clean look which puts that Cowboys jersey to shame. Just my opinion.

Really like this one. Great improvement on the old Reds fiasco.

How much better is this than that blown load that is the new official Panthers one?

    Definitely prefer this one.

Yeah. He's solid enough in defence and he's one of the most effective acting half runners in the NRL despite his relative lack of experience. Very handy off the bench. He doesn't quite have the workrate to be a starter yet.

Same thing every year no matter who is coach or how the personnel changes. If he can get them to tackle and be a brick wall in defence, they'll probably go close to winning it. If not, they'll probably fuckarse around at the bottom end of the 8 again.

    It's a top 6 side on paper.

  14. Paddy P Orr

Did they seriously recruit Furner as assistant coach?

  15. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Yeah. I'm not too worried about it. Some blokes suit an assistant role a lot better than the head position. Even though it'll be Green's first year, if they aren't in the top 6, it's failure. Most clubs would kill to have that side on paper. On paper it's significantly stronger than the side that won the comp this year.

  16. Alec AD Funkotron

They should cover the grass on the field with paper. :hughesy:

who is going to be fullback?

    Matthew wright?

    lol if so.

    Morgan.

I think Zac Santo is still favourite. As Wilson just alluded to though, Michael Morgan played fullback for them in their trial last weekend. I'm not sure how he went.
