Knights will be premiership contenders next year IMO. This side, plus Gidley and Scott, plus another 12 months under Bennett and they're top 4 afaic. Really liking their back line. Especially Naiqama and Gagai.
Where do you play Gidley though? Obvious answer is 7 but I think they've got something there with Roberts.
May sound strange but I would use him off the bench like in Origin. Bring him on to attack the tired forwards in the ruck. Bedsy gets a rest and you can also tag team with one playing lock and the other hooker. They can't keep using Costigan at hooker ffs.
That would be fucking epic in club football. Very slim chance of Bennett doing it though. Costigan was so poor tonight when he moved too hooker.
Bennett will play Gidley at halfback. Newcastle will be top 4. And NSW will pick him at halfback to replace Mitchell Pearce after yet another failure in Game 1 next year. You heard it here first.
