    Fully expect him to be back in a coaching role after a couple of seasons elsewhere.

    Yeah, Benitez will be a pretty good appointment for Newcastle.

    Don't think he will go to Everton and can't see many other top half clubs appointing him.

    The visitors had to hang on after goalkeeper Rob Elliot saw red for a second caution but got the points to ensure they will stay up.
    ‘I’m very pleased. It was a very important game for this football club,’ said Pardew.
    ‘I thought the first ten minutes we were almost playing with a noose around our neck we were so tense and tight.
    ‘I don’t really care if Arsenal win 4-0 [next weekend], if I’m honest. I’m sure Spurs will, but I only care that our fans enjoy themselves.’

    Yeah it's all the rage around Newcastle forums.

    Can't believe someone who managed a side to lose 0-3 and 0-6 in his past two home games would even think of saying something like that.

    Expecting Colo to go.

    Cabaye and Ben Arfa the two I think we'll have the biggest problem holding onto. Although I can hope Ashley keeps his nothing under 20m for either of them idea.

    Other than that it should just be the deadwood leaving. Simpson is almost certainly gone. Hoping Jonas follows too.
