Just pisses me off even more. Wasn't too long ago in the distant past I was sitting there watching Newcastle beat Barcelona!!! How things have changed since then.

Better than living in the present, I tell you mate. The pre-match scene in the Toon used to be fantastic....it's all doom and gloom now. However it's our first home game tomorrow, so I will be there to hopefully try and generate a little bit of atmosphere....hopefully with the help of another 40,000 or so.

 

Yeah I know what you mean tbh. I remember the F.A Cup replay with Man United and Reading. The build up and the atmosphere at that game were both absolutely immense!! Best atmosphere I have ever experienced and I've been to a Man United-Liverpool game! The atmosphere got even better when Man U got those 3 early goals because despite all the UTD fans being all cocky and shit about it there wasn't one reaing fan that didn't carry on cheering despite us going 3 down. Then we scored our 2 and Utd fans went quiet!! Then they shut up when Gunnarson hit the cross bar in the last minute of the game.

Just got back in from the match. Not a bad result at all.

The pre-match topless totty was fantastic in the toon before the game. The game was good and then more strippers again after the game. Probably my perfect day (if only it was a premiership game)
