I have no problem making it good for the interested ones. Need to think about it. Whether to do full reg or something like Veri was suggesting.
I know, but all strikers that want to be quick will be the same, there will always be ideal builds. Randomising some stats and giving "general ideas" prevent that
As Eds said people still have to pick what they use their limited allowance of stats on, plus there will still be form on this.
Theres still gonna be idea builds that say Eds will ask someone to sign up as Only saying you because youve done it in the past eds
Thats true, but randomly doing it means someone who is really keen could be shit as hell and someone who doesnt care is really good.
Have generic stats for different positions so all fullbacks start the same, all center halves start the same etc etc. Allow everyone to pick a couple of areas to specialise. For centerbacks could be out of pace, strength, stamina, heading, control, marking, short passing, long passing, tackling, determination etc etc. So depending on which areas they choose it will create the diversity between players. Then edit stats depending on performances every x rounds??

I don't see why you shouldn't let someone be the player they want to be. So what if everyone has a similar build? It'd be just as if not more similar if they only had the option of choosing a position and one or two variables.
And whats an ideal build anyway? Will anyone know and ideal build i don't think so. Plus if you pick your own stats you are going to be stronger in some places and weaker than others compared to everyone else. For the sake of making this sim for people who are interested it would be best if you could choose your build.
