Mass Effect Mafia: Game Thread

Credits = Cash. Credit is debt - i.e. you can't bid a higher value than you have in Credits - you can't go into debt.

 

It really shouldn't be. It's just a standard Mafia game with flavour - you don't need to know that the Collectors/Reapers whoever are the equivalent of mafia. If you get a cop report, it will say whether a player is town or mafia aligned. If a guy died at night and you watched that guy and saw him visiting, does it matter what specific theme alignment that player has. There's a couple of non-standard roles in the game, but even then the content of their night reports will be much more informative.

If you want to know about your character and what their motivations are, then Wikipedia has details on all of the characters in this game. It's no different to playing any other game where you're not au fait with the theme. Don't panic just because there's locations and that your character might not be a human. If things seem confusing, then it's because what might have happened in the game is ambiguous - much like any mafia game has a lot of ambiguity.

Also, there were some typos in the night result because I was nicely pished. For that, I do not apologise

 

You purchase the whole group as a job lot - all 5 locations.

I'll accept that as a legitimate bid though.
