8 or 9 of those goals are Penalties. Read recently that Ruben Castro has equal goals from Open play as him this season. He was very good upto December but Slowed down a bit since then, though i guess he is playing in a inferior team.

Also, When he is not scoring goals he can be more frustrating than RVP, imo. Not that this stat means that much without context but Only Rennes' Pitroipa (98) has lost the ball due to a poor 1st touch more times than Falcao (81) in Europe's top 5/6 leagues this term.

Having said that though he can create goals out of nothing more than RVP too.

They're very similar- strong, extremely two footed, great long-range shooting as well as great finishing. Falcao's better in the air, but RVP contributes with brutal set pieces. I don't know who's better. They're both phenomenal.

He'll get much better delivery at United/City/Chelsea as well... I think he'll be a great addition to the Premierleague

    Falcao rumour dismissed

Sir Alex Ferguson has scoffed at suggestions that he will look to sign Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao in the summer.
Spanish daily Marca broke a story that United were close to agreeing a deal with the Vicente Calderon club and much of the English media followed suit afterwards.
With various reports going as far as to speculate about the future of Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez as a result, Sir Alex was quick to shoot down the speculation when asked if it was genuine.
"Do you honestly believe that?" he asked the Sunday press. "Really? It does amaze me that you come up with that one."
Colombia international Falcao has continued his prolific goalscoring form in La Liga after moving from Porto in 2011. The 27-year-old had previously proved his worth at River Plate in Argentina.

Manchester United Starting XI - De Gea, Evra, Vidic, Ferdinand, Valencia, Kagawa, Carrick, Jones, Rooney, Hernandez, RvP

Interesting lineup today. No wingers possibly with Valencia at RB.

Yeah Valencia would have to be RB surely. Only other alternative is a Carrick-Rooney midfield, although that may be something he wants to try?

  7. chris473 CJ Devonshire

Valencia is RB and Rooney right and Chicharito on the left apparently

  8. Cevno IV Narang

Rooney has started in CM. Jones RB.

If it hadn't been for Fergie's statement, would suggest this could be a trial run for Falcao :p

    Carrick

Nani not on the bench is very interesting, btw. Wasn't brought on against City either.

That Chelski performance might have confirmed him leaving in the summer.

Rooney been pretty good in CM so far

Yeah, done very well so far.

Vidic is such a monster in the air. Stoke getting no change.

  15. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

    Definitely not a penalty.

Is it me or has Valencia lost some pace?

  16. Cevno IV Narang

Yep, seems that way. Something is wrong with him this season.

  17. McGrath JE McGrath

Might be something to do with his leg break, if it was an injury though he wouldnt play

  18. Cevno IV Narang

    RVP. Phew.

    Was ********ing worried there.

  19. Cevno IV Narang

He came back from his leg break a long while back last to last season and came back well. Then he was POTY last season.

Just this season he's completely gone shit.

  20. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Won't be his leg break. Was gun at the end of last season. He's only 27 as well. Should be in his prime.

    That RVP celebration
