(L) CPC Quarterfinal: Black Sheep vs Adelaiderpool

Black Sheep come from a 2-1 victory against Fanghunters while Adelaiderpool demolished Newcastle Breakers 4-0.

Black Sheep look to play a conservative game as they employ a defensive 5-2-1-1 formation. Mario Gomez and Nemanja Vidic will be sitting this one out due to injury with Alessandro Del Piero and Javier Zanetti moving into the starting lineup. To suit the defensive play, Alex has also been named in the starting eleven in front of Rafael van der Vaart.

On the other side, Adelaiderpool will look to break the Blackies defence with a 4-2-4 formation. Juan Manuel Mata and Jesus Navas have been sidelined with Harry Kewell and Yossi Benayoun playing on the wings.

65th minute: Adelaiderpool have the throw in on the right, near the halfway line. Maicon throws to Benayoun who plays it long and forward to Defoe. Eto'o now, a good through ball into the penalty area to Kewell coming in on the left! Almunia takes it before Kewell can get to it. The Black Sheep defence are lucky not to have conceded another to Kewell.
