  1. Hurricane JD Hurricane

Interesting. Me too. The Waikato crowd booed him and he missed a medium one. We booed twice as loud for a harder kick ten minutes later but he knuckled down and made it.

  2. The Boy Brumby ZJ Brumby

If you're looking for a Leekist ten you surely have to go for Phil Bennett or Barry John.

Really think Carter is the most complete stand off I've seen tho.

  3. Hurricane JD Hurricane

Was the most complete stand off. He is finished.

  4. Starris ER Starris

    I agree... he's like Vettori.

  5. Furball G Furball

Gavin Hastings a shoo-in for the number 15 jersey I'd have thought.

  6. Madness B Morganpola

Yep I'd agree if there had been a horrendous car crash on the way involving:

Cullen, JPR, Blanco, Latham, and if you fancy another Scotsman Andy Irvine, Lewsey, Folau and even.......Mike Brown!!

  7. Furball G Furball

    Behave yourself.

  8. Starris ER Starris

It's hard comparing players from different eras... I mean do you throw in the likes of George Nepia into the mix?

Was always a fan of Hastings.

  9. Hurricane JD Hurricane

Nepia has to be in the mix - it is like the Bradman vs Sachin argument in cricket although not so stark a contrast as obvs Nepia never reached bradman heights.

  10. loganb JEM Logan

Unsurprising considering how much time he spent on the medical table. Threw himself about so much.

  11. Droos JP Rhodes

    Professional era players only:

    9. George Gregan / Joost vd Westhuizen
    10. Dan Carter / Johnny Wilkinson
    11. Bryan Habana / Jonah Lomu
    12. Tim Horan / Matt Giteau
    13. BOD / Tana Umaga
    14. Shane Williams / Jason Robinson
    15. Christian Cullen / Percy Montgomery

  12. MrPrez CM Dyer

Montgomery is a no-go. Without being needed for place kicking he doesn't reach the level of some others.
