    Jason Nightingale, tbh.

  2. Julian BJ Taylor

I've never been a Nightingale convert. And now he's getting slower I'm just not sure.

There are some incredibly under rated wingers getting around. Antonio Winterstein springs to mind.

I agree with the defensive aspect being more important.

I always thought a winger wouldn't win you a game but not lose you one. I mean Radradra is pretty unique in the sense that he scores tries that a lot of other wingers wouldn't cause of how damaging a runner he is, but you can get by with a pretty pedestrian and average player as long as they don't monumentally fuck up. Most athletic cricsimmers would be able to finish 3-2 overlaps with a decent centre inside them.

Well, he is the best player in both of those positions.

    Doesn't matter.

Golden Boot award is almost worse than the Dally M.

I agree but I don't think this is the best example of that.

This years golden boot has nothing to with with my opinion of it.

Agreed on that point, a Vatuvei/Taniela Tuiaki/Radrada etc can score 3 freak tries and let in 4, whilst your David Simmons just gets the job done.

Old coach always said you'll never win a comp relying on wingers to create or front rowers to ball play (Doggies have given that second one a good nudge).
