In Ged's defence, the Stinggays are a megashit team, even worse than the Vipers, so can't blame anyone for leaving.
I have to say, I didn't really get why the shit hit the fan over that. If anything, the Vipers look to be the team who could afford to lose a player of Ryan's skill next season. I mean, if you're getting Gazza and Frizzed in and not losing any of your other first-teamers, what's the big deal. Obviously Cribb's marquee player thing is a different call, but I don't get why you'd all lose your shit over it.
Delonge was cool with it. I told him literally an hour after I was first contacted and told him I was seriously considering the offer. Kept him in the loop the entire time. The way Cribb was going on though it was like I had gutted the team and left them with nothing. EDIT: I do get where he was coming from with me being the creator and all but I think he over-reacted a bit.
??? I meant the guys we've currently got. We've kept like 95% of the same squad over a period of 3 seasons and most have given their word that they'll stay on for another.
I don't wanna discuss it here. Depends on whether we can sign any bowlers, but our batting next year >> this year.
The only shit that really hit the fan was Cribb's view of it tbf. And he was only cockblocked from our recruitment discussion.
