    Of the teams left

Hawks - playoff ready not alot of trading room to improve
Jazz- nearly playoff ready lots of trade potential
Bobcats - got some young stars
    Bucks - up to fucks
    Suns - up to fucks
Kings - seems to get decent players in and dont improve them

Ok cool, go make a thread look at their squad on wikipedia or something and I will confirm it when I get on pc when I wake up

I have no clue whatsoever about how the salary cap or anything works. I used that trade checker, tried doing Norris Cole for Anderson Varejao and it tells me it won't work because Cleveland are over the cap? If it said Miami I could understand. I don't actually want that trade btw, I was just fucking around with the trade checker thing.

At first glance is it because the trade has to come within 5mil of each other? Will look in the morning.

  12. RyanG R Gee

Nope. Doesn't matter who I pick from Clevelands team to trade for Norris Cole, it tells me that the trade won't work because

"Due to Cleveland being over the cap, the 50% trade rule is invoked. Cleveland had to be no more than 150% plus $100,000 of the salary given out, or no more than $5,000,000 (whichever is lesser), for the trade to be accepted, which did not happen here. This trade does not satisfy the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement."

Reckon it actually means miami. Cole would be on peanuts

Works for me if you select Cole & Livingston. Are you simply going back with your browser button, or "trying a new trade"? Going back via your browser and re-selecting players will often think it's the original trade you attempted.

But it's everyone on Clevelands roster. I've tried players on similar contracts for Cole and it just doesn't work. Like I said, i've got no idea at all how the finance/contracts side of things work in the NBA.

This might possibly be the issue. I tried Livingston and it failed. I completely closed the window. Re-opened the site and did it again and it worked. Weird.

When it says there can't be more than $5,000,000 between the 2 teams in a trade, does it mean the players' yearly wage or combined total of wages for each year??

I'm sure Cleveland have around $4M in cap space.
