A lot of people saying that the game is incomplete which judging by the screenshots, looks to be the case. They think that PC will release on 21st and then a DLC will be released to patch the remaining pieces of the game at a later date (hence the cheaper PC price). Speculation that the PS3 and 360 versions are still yet to be submitted for approval which means they are still weeks from release.
Yeah, the Indians will have a field day with it. Only average thing with that is that there will be a few IPL mods which can GAGFYAC's
Their PR and Marketing have been nothing short of diabolical, the screenshots have a Keeper with no body FFS! I really can't wait to see the reviews of the game once it's released.
Ashes 13 delayed till August. Also Big Ant released 2 new screenshots. http://www.planetcricket.net/articles/2013/06/4622-ashes-cricket-delays-big-ant-displays/ They look very promising and it seems like there will be a lot of variety when batting.
The time in development could be a positive, I reckon this will be the most realistic game yet and will set the benchmark.
The only way a cricket game is not going to be shit is if they incorporate kinect into batting. Actually batting in most of these games is usually OK... has anyone ever made a cricket game where bowling wasn't completely fucked? Or where batting and bowling was of equal difficulty so you could actually play a complete match?
You're outlook on life is far too optimistic. Everyone of us is going to fucking die. It doesn't matter how old you are - it's going to feel like you've wasted your life. PS there is also no afterlife.
Have you bothered to read the features of the game? This game will not have the usual markers for bowling, there will be none on the pitch so you have to rely more on your eye. Bowling is no longer point and click and batting will be using both sticks to incorporate foot movement and shot playing. Throw that in with all the finer details of cricket and on paper it looks very promising indeed.
They don't have markers because they haven't developed any, and it's not point and click because they don't have a license for a mouse. Fact.
And no, I haven't seen the features because they don't have a website for their game which is out in a month.
