Led Zeppelin IV album. Some legendary tracks like Stairway to Heaven, Rock and Roll, The Battle of Evermore are why I love this band and album. Love going back to the great rock n roll bands.

Tim Freedmans newest album is pretty decent. I'd recommend it for anyone who has enjoyed his previous work.

Totally agree. I often end up going back to people/groups like Pink Floyd, Judas Priest etc. Listening to their stuff now, just reminds me of how good music used to be.

Heard this song today called For Your Entertainment by Adam Lambert. Sounded pretty good so I looked him up and found out he was runner up on American Idol. Worth checking out.

You've only just heard of him?

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Drive-By Truckers stuff that I'm not too familiar with. Very pleased I did, as The Dirty South is now my favourite of their records. Every song is phenomenal and tells a great story. It's pretty clear their best work was from Jason Isbell's brief stint with the band, which is awesome given how much younger he is/was than the rest of the band.

Yeah I'm really out of touch when it comes to bands/artists. Rarely listen to the radio these days, just play CD's mainly.

Listening to Led Zeppelin I now as well. It reinforces why I love going back to these gems. Pink Floyd is another I will crank up later on. :D

Terrible Certainty album by Kreator. German Thrash Metal band put out 2 great albums before this one. Terrible Certainty continues a good run of 1980s thrash metal gems.

Loving Pink Floyds Animals album. The album I favour only after Wish You Were Here. Some very nice progressive music in here. Dogs is my favourite track on this album.

Had to crank this up after Animals. Great guitar work, love everything about this album. I know a lot of people prefer Dark Side of the Moon but something about this and Animals I tend to like more. Either way this is a classic.

American Soldier album by Queensryche. Really wondering why I bother with this shit. Album has glimpses of good but otherwise its just a pop oriented retarded version of the same band who put out awesome albums like Empire and Operation Mindcrime. This album though sounds like a band just on the verge of being buried, then they put the Dedicated to Chaos garbage out last year.
