Really back into listening to the old Yellowcard lately. Such gun music.

All I know by them is Ocean Avenue

That way away song was one of my favourites when I was 8 or 9. Haven't heard it for years.

    Gun album.

I remember listening to them when I was younger and gayer. Good on them for at least trying to be slightly different from typical pop-rock by using a violin, but still.

J cole is the only decent rapper around today.

Bone thugs and harmony was rap at its best.

Lupe Fiasco goes alright if he counts

Of course he counts! he is a boss!

Yeah, Lupe's gun as. I just wasn't sure if he goes under the rapper tag.

Thinking now though that's a stupid question really. He's a rapper, he just isn't your typical shitty rapper.

Tbf I actually kinda like rap music, mostly cause I dig the rhythms and phat bass beats. Same reason I have no problem with Dub Step.

I am acctually just mostly anti music snobs (not people who only like to listen to one kind of music, thats okay, but people who think because they don't like a certain style of music it makes the music crap). It means I listen to most anything.

Good rap is great, but the majority of it, especially today's, sucks :p

Like you said, the beat usually goes alright and when they've got some good rhymes I like them, or when they include some melodies or something. You know, add more than your standard raping about bitches and getting shot with a produced beat

I hate rap from the bottom of my heart, but for some reason I've found Gangsta's Paradise pretty awesome. The only rap song so far I've heard I really liked :p

Epica Design Your Universe album from 2009. Simone has great vocals, this album I love the progression and the usual symphonic elements. They have an album out next month or so, keen as for it.

Can't help but cringe everytime I listen to the Red Hot Chili Peppers latest album :(

Because Gangsta's Paradise is fucking amazing

Had this feeling quite recently. Ever since that new album, I've kind of stopped listening to them. I went back to them yesterday and started at Blood Sugar and went on through to I'm With You, just doesn't compare at all. Never realised until today how good of an album By The Way is though .

Metallica And Justice For All. The real gripe I have with this album is how sterile the drums sound due to the bass being ridiculously turned down in the mix. I love the album but these little things about it bug me a little. I enjoy an album most with kick arse bass levels.

Just bought a $28 headphone amplifier to help with my awesome headphones. They sound even better now!

Just heard Don Henley's Boys of Summer on MTV Classic. Something about that song really reminds me of my youth - nothing about the video either, just the song. It's right up there with the film Wargames and the Atari 2600 games console that immediately conjure up images of the early 80s in my mind.

Picked up Band of Skulls new album today. Only two songs in, but it doesn't seem like they're suffering from second album syndrome like most British indie bands do.
