The venerable Keith Quinn towards the end of his run called him the mighty Gavin Hastings on at least one Occassion. It is true he was a legend of the game. And it pleases me that you recognise his greatness. It also saddens me as I suspect possibly you, I, Starris, and gf will be the ones with memories of him. Still there is much to like about mike brown and he will go on to be an English captain and English atg if he stays healthy. Best English fullback I have seen by some distance.
Only in a couple of games during the 2003 world cup. Remember I was away from rugby coverage for 15 years. I didn't see enough of him to compare the two players properly.
Scotland France England Gotta back England, can't help but do it. It'll be tough though. Really looking forward to this round.
Both more kicking kinda fullbacks than Mick. I'm slightly too young to properly appreciate Dusty, but Dr Webb was always mildly sus under the high bomb. The English player who reminds me most of Brown is Lewsey, actually. Both have the happy knack of beating the first man as often as not; Josh slightly quicker, Mick the more elusive runner with a safer pair of hands.
Always ran a good line, our Joshua. Didn't have the twinkling toes of Robinson or the flat out gas of Luger, but always ran straight and hard and had an eye for a gap. & yeah, defensively very solid. Good under the high ones too.
Howe (if possible please) to let me know if there are any upsets on offer or let me know of a site where I can check.
The only upset this round would be an Italy win. I use the NZ tab odds for the Super 15 but cant see Six Nation options. Try William Hill or someone like that, Hurricane but the only result worth 2 points this round would be an Italy win.
