    Haha yeah I thought that too.

    My first thought was that I expected the World Conference to be slightly harder/better and that this would be unfair, but my next thought was that it might be a good thing if people bantered across conferences as to how good their teams "really" were all season.

    But if Athlai is against it I'm not doing it. If you have fun this season and/or the CWPL season, his relentless signalling that was still keen for it is partially to thank. I was keen to get it going again when I started up CWPL but I thought no-one else was I wouldn't have bothered. He's really driven/annoyed me. WAG/C.

    Yeah awesome work Athlai. I bet there were plenty that thought like him but were aware that even if it did get started it would never finish (like me :p)

    So....what about proper CricSim then? :p

    I have plans to do something like that after this CPL season. BS Season 13 is probably a bridge too far and/or pointless, but maybe the equivalent of "offseason club cricket" for that will be simmed if all goes to plan.

    I did have pretty grand plans to have this CPL thing we only just started finished months ago and instead decided to take about a 10 month break though, so trust me at your peril. :laugh:

    Yeah if the Bannerman Shield was to come back I'm pretty sure we'd have to cull half the teams. And that would kinda suck. As does the fact that the people/environments who made the clubs what they were are mostly gone.

    We could just have like 50% inactive players. I don't think that would feel stupid. We'd need to have selectors for each team though and I don't think we would.

    we could have a small 'franchise' comp where the active members get mixed up a bit. could be fun, a bit different and might spark cribbs interest again.

    Yeah, I'd like something that my not great current knowledge of cricket below international level can fit in with. I'd have considered the ElvisSpike team if I had any confidence outside of google past about round 4.

    Trouble is it's been over 4 years since the last simmage and CS never got even close to being as dead as it has been for the last 3-4 years during the long simmage breaks. World has generally moved away from foruming IMO.
