7 - 58 against CD this year. So, how shit is that CD line-up if Aldo is only bowling 28kph? I guess it must be a shock for you to see a bowler playing in consecutive games though.

And as for the age thing, you're the one that called my team the "cpl rest home", and as far as I can tell my team is younger, better and less retired. None of my team make their coin selling fishing rods.

that CD batting was pretty shit/charitable.

Slightly younger, not better, less retired and less able to support themselves beyond cricket.

  3. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

 That's laughable. No sales, no commission, no food for your chumps. Aldo plays a mean guitar. He'd make more money busking than your whole line-up could put together with "real life skills".

nah outclassed by trent boult according to KW fan fiction.

I support CD but this really made me laugh.

The Hamish Marshall is still so good.

A fine pick for anyone besides you, the guy who would probably rather claw his eyes out than have a Marshall on his scorecard.

  9. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

Hoping I can trade him for someone with a more proven track record... Jimmy Franklin, maybe?

So glad to have Snyman on the team. It was such a shame the S2 BLERTA had no associate players, after Youssou N'Dour had the inimitable Steve Tikolo.

Synman could actually be useful. Wouldn't bother bowling him these days even in Second XI cricket but as a bat he was a genuinely good pick.

  12. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

Yeah, I definitely picked him as a middle order bat, not an occasional trundler. I've got occasional trundlers coming out of my proverbial ears.

Is there any way to extract Wheater's dismissals when keeping? His stats are skewed by playing alongside Jamie Foster.

    As a keeper.. All-time FC:

    Code:
Matches	Inns	NO	Runs	HS Ave	50	100
    39	55	9	1709	140 37.15	11	2
Balls	Mdns	Runs	Wkts	BB	Ave	Ct	St
    did not bowl 87	3

  15. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

Very nice. 2.31 dismissals per game looks a bit more reasonable than the 1.47 based on his full career.

Was there an easy way to do that, or did you compile it manually?

Used cricket archive Player Oracle. There's a tick box under 'restrict seasons' where you can limit it to games as captain, games as wicketkeeper, or both.

  17. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

    Ah! Wonderful. Thanks for that.

Wishing I'd picked some more Associate heroes instead of Shehan Jayasuriya and Hamish Marshall. Khurram Khan, Craig Williams, Peter Borren, Sarel Burger or Mohammad Nabi (who I nearly picked ahead of Yadav). Would prefer any of those, I reckon. Just a bit more pizazz.

  19. 99* JJ Ritchie

I was thinking of picking Khan.

  20. Athlai JJD Heads

Most of those would be gun picks. Cribb worships Khurram Khan.
