Under the bed, in the toilet???

  2. Gazza GJ Weaver

Been reading Ian Bothams autobiography, so far so good.

  3. Farny AP Farnsworth

    What a legend.

  4. Baxter MJ Deane

Under the bed tons, different bags I take to my dad's. In 6th form. All over the shop.
    In the car.

  5. Gazza GJ Weaver

I'm not gonna lie, he talks himself up a storm in this book. Unbelievable tbh

  6. Farny AP Farnsworth

To be fair, if I was that good I'd have given it sooo much chat.

  7. Gazza GJ Weaver

Yea, but most legends are modest...it's just a huge me yarn. Good though

Shane Warne's autobiography (the first one that was released, not the recent one) is a top read, really enjoyed that. Having said that, I haven't read the one with the 2005 Ashes and stuff in it, probably a good read because it was the classic series that most of us will relate to.

  9. Gazza GJ Weaver

I wanna read Bumbles one but couldn't find it in the library

AWTA. That'd be an absolute classic read, easily my favourite sports commentator!

  11. Clank CL Ank

Meeee. I read most of his books. They're all really funny, and can be standalone. I think my favourite has got to be Going Postal or The Colour of Magic.

  12. Cribbage RG Cribb

Saw the movie. Weird, weird movie.

  13. SmellyStuff MP Chung

Local library only had Men At Arms. :( I'm enjoying it so far, just because it's so outrageous. :p

  14. Clank CL Ank

I think that's the appeal of the books to me. They're all so funny and the descriptions make the world so vivid and interesting. I wish I could live there. :p

MF...I know you'll read this at some point...have you read any Dan Dennett?...or has anyone else for that matter?

  16. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Do you mean Daniel Dennett, the secularist/atheist/evolutionist?

  17. rabbit boy RA Boy

    Reading Matter by Ian Banks

  18. Old Mate M Perry

Uncle Tom's Cabin. It's so ****ing old and I'm not MF/Crib etc so I struggle to fully grasp it.

  19. BigGuns DA Astele

Pillars of the Earth - Ken Follett.

This novel is being made into a Mini series.

    @ Farny.

If so, nah not really. I've listened to several of his lectures though. Very interesting stuff. You're probably much better placed to comment - what do you think of him and his work?
