Doesn't matter, it's still 'explosive' reading.

FMD, Michael Crichton really knows how to write page-turners. Literally spent the past 4 hours finishing Disclosure because I just couldn't stop reading it!

It's pretty clear he was smashed/high when writing that diary entry

Finished The Trial, by Kafka, again. Never has a bleak picture of law bureaucracy been so sublimely painted. Not to sound condescending but it's hardly for the Harry Potter readers; a very a slow, thorough reading (often re-reading) is required.

Have you not read Harry Potter?

I actually cracked out mycopy of this from one of many boxes left unpacked and re-read a lot of it. Intrigued me as an 18 yr old, but since reading critical writing by Will Sheff I almost laughed at getting so much out of it in the first place.

The last few things I've read have been:

The Rules of Attraction - Bret Easton Ellis. Then I started Glamorama and sort of gave up.

The complete George Orwell. Pretty much read all of it. Been hypnotised since I read Down and out in Paris and London a year or so ago.

Kingdom of Fear - Hunter S Thompson

Are any of you guys into Terry Pratchett? I've been meaning to get into him for a while now but he's written so ****ing many books I have no idea where to start. :S
