Would you like me to send you a copy of Chomsky's, Failed States? Or perhaps Hegemony Or Survival?

May I ask what you are studying at Uni?

Wheel of Time series, pretty good read, but slow at times. Want to get 1984 and read it when I finish this, got shitloads of free time atm.

Pretty sure they would want money, food and shelter over a book.

Don't worry Flash you're the army ranger these people read about and who use their imagination combined with the words they're reading to try and get in touch with your reality.

Soooo boriiiiiing. The first book is just dead set the main characters walking around for 800 pages. 2nd the 3rd aren't much better (that's all I've read) and apparently it gets even more slower later on.

Who ever said anything to the contrary?

Only if you don't expect them back. I reckon they'd look good next to my Communist Manifesto and 1984. :p

Bachelors of Business, majoring in Marketing and Management.

Haha. Speaking of Orwell and Chomsky, the latter turned me onto the unpublished preface of Animal Farm. It's obviously a laconic, though nonetheless intriguing read. I recommend it. Should be available on the net with a little searching.

    Any you enjoy it?

Reading Dawkins' newest one now. Still undecided as to what I think of it.

Funny you say that, the guy in the link is basically the Dr Phil of Rabbis.

Expecting massive lulz at this.. but The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown.
Read all his other things years ago and thought it'd be worth seeing if he's actually done anything to improve the typical Langdon plot.

Haha, yeah, I quit after book 3, but got back into it cause i've been shit bored at uni. It does get slower, but it's actually not bad. Becomes deeper and darker, which adds some interest.

Agreed. All he does is cite quotations, out of context and often not relevant to his point at all. The gravamen of his entire position is - Incomprehensible complexity = sky daddy must've done it.

    Something like this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdocQHsPCNM&feature=related

    Haha.

Have recently had some books recommended to me by a Spanish author called Carlos Ruiz Zafon....his books are being translated into English.

I have already read The Shadow Of The Wind, and currently reading The Angel's Game. The books are set in Barcelona in the 20's. They are a really good read.
