So I reckon it'd be gun if we had a cricsim league of this, or an alternative free to play thats something like it. This is TB's intro to the game <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/zHSq3BR35JE?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> But basically it's an American football game with fantasy army style characters that knock each other around. You have salary caps, you can level up your guys and you can give them abilities. League style of this with a few teams would be pretty gun imo.
Difficulty doesn't mean anything IIRC. Easy bots just play really ballsy and hard bots play extremely defensively, medium is actually the hardest level. Not sure if there's a free version.
I'll look to buy this on Wednesday I reckon, what edition should we look to go in? For guys who have played it, how does the league work?
Whichever, I only have original but I'll upgrade. You start off with the same amount of money to build a team and earn more as you go along (Ideally you'll want some rerolls and the best types of players). As players do things in game they level up which enables you to roll for new abilities, or extra stats (Which depends on what you want a player to do) There are good races at various stage, i.e. Dwarves at level 1 are sooo strong but slow, because they're tough and so much of their shit has block (get block on anything that isn't a QB-type role.) whilst Chaos scales really well because they have a lot of Strength 4 and mutations, but they've got no technical ability without levels. Every race plays different with some generic races. For general builds: QB roles-Pass-based abilities, Pass and things to avoid intercepts (Kick isn't bad too) WR roles-Catch,Safe hands, Sprint, Blodge (Block is hard to get but get block+dodge and they're hard as hell to take down) Anything that hits-Block, Tackle, Mighty Blow (dodge if you can get it) Also on Chaos, Claw on everything that hits people. Claw is ridiculous at causing injuries.
