    Nah.

Went to the Double Header at Twickers today. Brits is so ****ing good, and the Sarries pack as a whole is absolute beast. Didn't really deserve to lose IMO, but meh.

Quins, Wasps was a bore-fest in the first half. But things picked up in the second and it was more the tension of it being close that kept me entertained ITBT. Plus, there was an epic mexican wave with all sorts of shit being thrown up in the air. Flutey at 10 was decent, but nothing special.

Wasps will suffer this year if Walder doesn't play 10 - Flutey's game has adapted far too much for him to play 10 anymore, he's an out and out 12 now. Sarries pack will be (once Matt Stevens joins in January) the best pack in Europe AFAIC. I hate Borthwick but he's quality in the lineout, the front row will be monsters, and the back row can snaffle anything and everything if they put their minds to it. Top 3 finishers for sure in my mind. I hope Bath, with the new signings, can finally get to the Final this year; personally think with the side we've now got and the new regime, it could be the year. On top of this, my ESPN Scrum Fantasy team gunned it today, lots of try scorers I think and most players played a full game, yussss!

You've got Moody, you've already won the league.

Wasps backs are looking alot better as a unit now. Houghton on the wing is such a gun addition, and a backline of Simpson, Walder, Varndell, Flutey, Wardouck, Houghton and van Gisbergen is certainly worthy of a playoff spot.

Alex Goode will be Englands number 10 by this time next year

I agree to an extent...I honestly think that Flutey is better off at 12 though, with Jacobs coming on for the last 20 as an impact battering ram. Van Gis isn't what he once was either, I'd personally take a gamble and pop Houghton at FB (defensively fragile possibly) and let him run the ball back. Walder at 10 is a must, he is class.

I can't help but agree, whenever he's played there he's looked really good. Hopefully he'll stay fit and not do a Cipriani; if we're honest we were saying this a couple of season's ago!

Houghton at 15 is a no-no. MVG was class today. Set up an absolute beaut of a scissors for Flutey to slice through. And his kicking is > Walder's IMO.

If you want to get to the play-offs you need to attack well, and Houghton's attack is by far better IMO, although I admit I haven't seen the highlights yet so I may change my mind :p But still, that's personally the way to go I reckon. And sure his kicking is better, but if you're scoring lots of tries kicking doesn't matter. ;)

Kicking makes a huuuuuge difference. Take the 29-29 draw today, for example.

We've got very good attackers though. Simpson can certainly run from the base, Walder isn't shabby, Flutey has a meaaaan step, Waldouck and Jacobs are both definately solid going forward and then Varndell and Houghton are attacking gods. MVG isn't that bad anyway.

Yeah I agree he's not bad, but by no means is he brilliant; I don't rate his defence that highly from what I saw last season, although I did think he was having a bad season by his standards really. You've got a good attacking setup, although I still think Wasps best asset is defence with Edwards as coach. Sir Ian McGeech at Baff will be interesting, hopefully he'll sort us out a lovely jubly trophy this season like he did when he was at the Pests.

  13. Eds E Ames

You don't need McGeech, you've already won the league FFS.

  14. CCG C Golding

Geech is god, Moody is his pet dog and then Luke Watson is Moody's pet dog..that's how badass it is ;)

FMD Aviva Premiership sounds so gay compared to Guinness Premiership

  16. Doog J McDougal

    Bath to thrash Leeds today...

  17. Farny AP Farnsworth

Steenson is class. If he plays well, Exeter have a fighting chance of staying up.

  18. Doog J McDougal

    Called it.

  19. Eds E Ames

They've got Moody, whadda you expect.
