Saw the highlights from Wallaby loss. Looked like whoever charged that Genia kicked down was surely offside?
When Pocock comes back, I think we'd be crazy not to play him and Hooper together. Hooper is a damaging ball runner so losing a traditional 6 won't be a huge loss. Only issue would be at the lineout having a 3rd jumper.

I'm finding it hard to support the current Wallabies side. I do regardless because I am Australian, the players themselves just don't appeal to me the way the teams of the past have.
My word Horwill is such a fucking non-entity. "I think you're drawing a long bow to say it's a culture. It's an isloated incident." Involving fifteen fucking players, James. That's a team, the last time I looked. WAC, seriously. Hack.
I just want a home for this post so I can refer to it easily - Here is my team: Front row Slipper (a Machine in the scrum - useless around the paddock - possibly most dominant scrummager in super rugby atm) Moore alexander Locks No one is breaking down the door. Back row 6 higginbottham 7 Hooper 8 McKalman (This year's star player for me) Depending on what locks they put out - this could be a good "pack". If they can unearth a hard man for the second row then so much the better. backs 9 Genia will be pressed by others so is not a shoo in. He looks sluggish in some games and is getting caught before he can clear the ball from the base. 10 Cooper? Toomua? Aussie need a world class 10. 11 Honey Badger 12 Beale 13 Tevita Kuridrani - he just gives more options than ashley cooper. 14 Ashley Cooper would like to have him on the bench as utility injury cover but I can't think of any other person to play 14 as well as him. 15 Folau Reserves Aussie have a couple of good reserve halfbacks But the other positions don't have four nations quality depth e.g. they would be well served to drop Pat McCabe from all future training squads. Edit Christian L to be injury cover for the 10 and 12 jersey.
Foley is Australia's world class 10... To me he showed he was the best last year and is continuing to this year. Should be selected in the starting XV!
Kane Douglas off to Leinster From the BBC. Big call for a 24yo who's in and around his national squad. Quite rate the boy too; like the cut of his jib. Bit of dog about him.
Aussies looking stronger this year than they have in a long time. Lets just hope the coach selects the right team for the Champs.
Surely the cost of all the travel is going to be crippling for that Perth team. Maybe should have gone without one on the West to start off with. Hard to do, of course, when one of your Super Rugby franchises and a decent population of rugby fans are there though.
Pat McCabe forced to retire...... Sad ending for the young bloke. 3 broken necks.....hmmm. Always thought he was a bit underrated tbf.
