Still at 2.15 on Centrebet. I ended up putting $475 on the Cows at 2.15. I'd place $225 on the Nines this weekend so that takes my outlay to $700. Brisbane win will give me $1300 and Cows win will give me $1020. Sill tossing up on whether to just completely hedge. I'll wait til a minute or two before kick off.
"I think the Broncos will win off the back of being boring" Yes Gaz Such a gun panel, made the coverage so much better.
Big question is whether the Cowboys have enough in the tank for mine after that massive effort against NZ. MASSIVE START!
Fucking lol if the Cows go on to win this because Manly couldn't beat Canberra. So miffed about Coote being injured though. Would've been nice to see them challenge this year with Coote and Thurston together.
Fantastic effort by the Cowboys, they deserve the win. Was a great tournament overall, much better than that Abo guilt trip.
Yes, they certainly did. I thought it would be the other way around. Thought the Cows had run their race. Congrats on the win though. How much did you pocket?
Luke Keary (suspected pectoral) David Williams (possible ACL) George Jennings (arm/wrist) Lachlan Coote (ACL - six months) Curtis Sironen (fractured foot - six weeks) Mitchell Moses (shoulder) Michael Chee-Kam (elbow - six weeks) Jarrod Mullen (hamstring) David Taylor (ankle) David Stagg (knee - 2-6 weeks) Todd Carney (hamstring) Ben Barba (ankle) Kyle Feldt (hamstring) Isaac Lui (knee) Dylan Farrell (concussion) Mitchell Pearce (knee) Injuries happen of course, there's no way to guard against that, but I do think a good point was made by Halligan about constantly warming up and then cooling down for two days in a row. It makes some of the muscle tear injuries a little hard to swallow.
