    I had no idea just how gun Holder's bowling form/transformation has been in tests. 53 wickets @ 14.22 (lol) since 2018 began, compared to 53 wickets @ 38.52 before that.

    I had Holder at #5 in my power rankings of all players, and that was only because I think the impact of getting a superstar bat was really big. Such an important selection for that squad.

    That was the only thing he's done that I remembered. I knew he'd be a genuine #7 in this, I just didn't think he'd also be one of the best bowlers outright as well. Assumed Hunter was prioritising an all-rounder at the expense of a gun bat or bowler, rather than getting both.

    This is a quality first XI and is likely going to push the outers of the top 8. Theres some good backup here, and theres some spuds too. I'd guess some of this is Dan throwing things against the wall.

    Best Pick: Tamim Iqbal - Round 4
    Morgs on Tamim: See Shafiq. Though his most recent Test series was actually rather good, shame he hasn't played since.
    Cribb's Best Pick: Chris Morris - Round 5
    Morgs on Morris: Good pick. One of the best bowlers left over and can bat for good measure.
    Worst Pick: Zohaib Khan - Round 15
    Morgs on DBZ: Lots of ways this pick could go; gun recent record with the bat but with a lot of not outs, and he rarely seems to bowl these days. It's a decent pick on paper but might not work out at all.

    DBZ. Yikes. Boult was a poor first round pick IMO, but somehow you then went on to get AB and Tamim who are some of the best bats in CPL. This team will go far and looking forward to some random shit head getting picked in R18 by Dan that is somehow secretly h4x.
