I have gone through all the current contracts for this season and compiled a list of all the provincial squads. Everyone had a choice of 5 provinces they could represent, GB, NSW, NZ, QLD and VIC. I had decided before making the list that any province that got to 16 (minimum required) people would have a provincial slot. 3 provinces made the cut but 2 didn't. The 3 teams that have a provincial slot are, GB, NSW and NZ. Meaning that QLD and VIC failed to make the required amount with VIC failing to even make a starting XI. Combined however they have 21 players more than enough to make a squad. So for now they will play under the banner of the Minor Provinces. If QLD or VIC are able to make up 16 next season then they will given a side of their own. Yeah. I was planning on starting the new season after the RUSim season had started and after the PC on Cricsim but seeing as both have taken so long I am just going to get it underway now.
There haven't been that many standout strikers so far, everyone has a chance. Only striker that would be garunteed a provincial spot should be Storer.
If I had to play with any other province, it would be QLD. Still would rather play for Victoria though.
