New coach hasn't done anything for Walsh though. Nothing ever will, he can't help himself. Just have to take the good with the bad with him.

I don't see where Mam comes back in, having the maturity of Hunt at 6 is vital for them. No doubt someone will get injured though.

The fuckwit blowing a 4 on 1 solely because he's a selfish little cunt was so great.

As soon as they lose a few on the trot there'll be pressure to move Hunt to 9.

Unless Mam learns how to tackle, he can stay in QCUP this year.

Lets not forget he's only 22. He'll hopefully mature in time. Papenhooozen did the same thing but the reaction doesnt seem to be the same.

I agree. I think Reynolds/Hunt could prove to be the best halves combo at Brisbane in a very long time.

I wasn't even referring to the 4 on 1 thing, tbh he created that so he has the right to f it up. There was one time where he stupidly passed the ball near his own line, though a lot of fullbacks do that, and another where he made a split second decision to kick on the last which went nowhere. He does that one all the time. You'd think you'd be able to coach it out of him, I'd ban him from kicking, instead he always seems to have licence to do whatever he wants. He does some great kicks sometimes but it's not worth it especially when you now have Hunt there as well. His whole thing is all about playing at frantic speed and instinct so he's always going to make some mistakes.

Voss is truly an awful commentator. He gets a bee in his bonnet and just does not stop harping on, and on, and on.

Broncs dropped back down to earth. Hunt was awful. As was Walsh. Canberra were excellent.

Payten wont last long at this rate. The Cows were putrid again.

I was really nervous about this game, I could see this coming a mile away. Sniffing their own farts all week, I was hoping Madge would have roped them in...

Canberra are really the only side that can do it to you like that though, I'm glad it happend in round 2 tbh. Some valuable lessons learnt.

Mmhm. You could feel it in the air. Canberra can be the hardest roadtrip too when they're up for it.

Game was still there to be won tho. Just awful execution in that last 15.

True, they had their chances to steal the game, though they certainly didn't deserve it.

Imo it's probably better for their season overall that they didn't chase it down tbh. Can't hide thier issues behind a fortuitous win.

It's pretty funny how wildy he is hated. Even all the bogans bagging him for the fingernail painting when it's something his daughter does.

They call him a sook because of how he whines at the refs all the time, but he doesn't shy away from taking a hit and whenever he gets smashed which is a lot he gets up and plays it instead of being a bitch playing for a penalty

Penrith still look top 4 certainties to me and I think on their day, they're probably the best team. However, 90 points conceded in 3 games is hectic, even given their tough early draw.

They were decent in rnd 1, game against the roosters was in extreme heat which doesn't suit penrith at all, and game 3 they lose cleary straight away otherwise they probably beat the other top contender, although factoring in weather again rain def suits penrith more than melbourne. I did have question marks over their two signings though, talagi and papalli are both terrible defenders which puts holes in their whole strategy. Jack Cole clearly isn't any better in that regard, for now at least. Talagi has that sort of body shape where he will likely never be a good defender.

I’m surprised it took this long for people to realise Walsh is a rubbish ball player, maybe he becomes less erratic as he matures but he just doesn’t seem to understand space and all of his play seems to be pre-meditated. Freak of an athlete who should just focus on becoming a gun running fullback for the next few years, he’s blessed with some freak DNA.. how the fuck that little 5ft lesbian can piston a 40/20 like the one he did tonight defies all logic.

I was surprised so many on here had him ahead of Ponga last year for origin… surely it’s no contest this year?

Walsh has ball playing when he has time, but he just always tries to play way too quickly. Madge has a lot of work to do with him, he has been a genuine liability last 2 weeks.

He is nowhere near origin, shouldn't be in the squad, at least 3-4th in line.

It's never really been ball-playing tbh. His best footy is using the god-like pace to beat his opposite on the outside and create the 3-on-2. That should be his sole focus with the ball in his hands.

He's definitely not 4th in line tho.
