30-0 Parra since the 15th minute. Doggies bro. They are absolutely woeful.

And that’s why you hold the ball tight to your body and not attempt to promote it in traffic.

Honestly, can someone tell me the point of brining a bomb down 25m out from inside the opp half? Happens way way too much in the modern game. Even if your chasers pounce on him it’s still giving away cheap field position.

    Reynolds missus. Solid 8.

Brooks keeps hesitating. Done it three times now. Either pass or run mate.

  6. Magic AJ Parker

Such a bad penalty call, that's just a poor pass from Brooks. Came about a day late.

    Is Alexander high?

    We're good.

If only we didn't have a 350k fine and McQueen + Reynolds on 1 mil a year ffs.

Feel better now about the thumping NQ copped after the Dogs and Warriors games.

Good to see the new SFS will be getting built with the election outcome.

3 years at the SCG is already 3 too many.

Dogs are the worst NRL side of recent memory. Where are the points coming from?

Taumalolo out for 6-10 weeks. That's fucked.

Unless Foran turns the clock back things look ugly. Not convinced they're worse than Newcastle though.

Yeah three straight spoons is hard to argue with. They actually weren't that bad in 2015 despite spooning it - they set some sort of record for the best ever spoon season I think - but they only won a solitary game in 2016. Canterbury will win more than one game this year IMO.

Dean Pay obviously deserves some latitude given his starting point but I honestly don’t think he’s made many improvements in his time there. When Parra got ahead yesterday it honestly seemed to me like a lot of Bulldogs players were either not trying or only half-arsing it. That is not a good sign after what Pay described as a week of soul searching in response to their first up flogging by the Warriors.

And it’s an especially bad sign that you need to be searching for character and motivation this early in a new season. It lasted for about 15 minutes.

A lot of it came down to his bench rotation as well. They just got stomped on for 20 minutes when Napa and Tolman went off. He definitely has to look at changing up how he goes about working his big men.

Even with the early loss of JT I thought it was a remarkable performance by the Broncos pack given they have Lodge and Haas to come back into the side.

But I do still think Milford is struggling. I’d like to see them play the halves in a much more traditional style.

Those Knights sides didn't look that bad on paper, this Dogs side is the drizzling shits.
