    He's arguably the best available Australian half in the game at the moment.

    I wouldn't pick him but not sure why you'd want him picked just to feed it to him only to be fed another series defeat 80 minutes later.

    I would've thought it in Qld's best interest if Nathan Cleary is retained.

    Pretty confident about a bloke whose never played Origin before. Not sure what Cleary has to do with anything either. They could well end up in the halves together. Good post tho...

    I'm confident in the talent available to NSW in comparison to Qld should they not fuck up the team selection. Was pretty obvious last year that Maloney was the primary playmaker last year, I don't see him getting dropped and I could quite easily see Keary playing as the secondary playmaker to him should they chose to go down that route.

    You think I or anyone else needed you of all people to enlighten us on the declining situation? We lost two future immortals, an all time great halfback, and Origin's second top try scorer. Thanks for the heads up. lol.

    I've been saying it for years that this time would come. I posted openly that I didn't think we'd win in 2018. But just presuming that you will this year when NSW barely got over the line last year, and without a home game until the third, yeah I think that's rather arrogant. But this is why people, not just QLDer's hate NSW. You win one series, and all of a sudden it's a foregone conclusion.

    I'm confident we have the better players available, of course I think we'll win so long as we pick the right team. That's just logical, not arrogance. At the same time I'm extremely cautious of the affect Kalyn Ponga could have on this series.

    It's why I find it so strange you'd hope NSW would pick Luke Keary, he would only strengthen the stronger side... Then again you labelled the Roosters a shit side last year so maybe it's something to do with how highly you rate Keary?

    Because he's a traitor. If the best NSW can do is to pick an opportunist turncoat then yeah I hope they pick him and he gets what he deserves.

    You are still thinking like an 18 year old like in yhe past. You gotta take any oportunity you can get, you can't get picky. If NSWRL blocked him from playing for QLD, you gotta take your chances elsewhere. No one is going to care about how loyal he was once he retires.

    Er yeah they will. People who care about loyalty will. Attitudes like yours are part of why it’s almost non-existent any more. If it was 1975 and you’re playing for peanuts, yeah I can understand it. But the guy is on 700k a year. And short of a catastrophic career-ending injury, he’ll have made well over 5 mil by the time he’s done. Give me a break.

    He’d rather play Origin for the opposition he’s barracked against all his life hitherto the last couple of years.

    I hope he plays for them. Plays like shit and never gets picked again.

    Yeah early days but Parra's signings last year look really good. Kicked out a few toxic influences, got a star winger to finally properly replace Radrada and Lane and Paulo seem like good additions to their pack. Definitely look a surprise packet.
