Yeah it's still there. Got 1000ish comments as well. Too bad they didn't credit the video as MFs :p

I find it a little hard to believe but Hooper is reporting Peter Wallace will be picked for NSW at 9. That would be very out of character for Daley. Word is he recognises Farah's style of play is detrimental to the halves. (I'd add the selfish mentality). If they're gonna pick Pearce I can certainly understand wanting to go for a more traditional style of hooker.

Lot of people will be happy about no Farah. It's certainly going to be interesting. NSW have only played 1 game without Farah starting in the last 5 years,

And apparently Brett Morris will be picked outside Hayne on the left wing.

Tedesco, B Morris, Hayne, Dugan, Ferguson, Maloney, Pearce, Woods, Wallace, Fifita, Cordner (c), Frizell, Jackson. Interchange: Bird, Graham, Klemmer, J Trobjevic, J McLean (18th man).

Fuck I hope he's right about the QLD side:

Slater, Boyd, Chambers, Gagai, Holmes, Thurston, Cronk, Myles, Smith (c), Napa, Papalii, Gillett, McGuire. Interchange: Morgan, Thaiday, Lillyman, Guerra, Hess (18th man), Munster (19th man).

Guerra instead of Hess is aids but Papalii on the edge is great. As is Holmes getting a start instead of O'Neill. Thaiday up the guts is shit. If he's not being used to run over Maloney he shouldn't be in the team.

    I like the Wallace decision.

It's ballsy but fuck it Farah has only really served for so long due to a lack of alternative options. He's never been able to transfer his creativity & dominance from club level to SOO level.

  7. Julian BJ Taylor

    Agreed.

Wallace's transition to 9 has been a much under rated coaching/late career playing move IMO.

  8. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Well not consistently. He has set up a decent amount of tries relative to most of the Blues halves. But yeah he's survived through lack of competition.

I don't know Hayne can play Origin with this defence. He hasn't made a good decision all night. Walker's given him a bath.

They better pick Vaughan instead of 2 second rowers on the bench. Cordner should be out there for the full 80.

Oates has apparently firmed for the right wing spot over Holmes. I'm completely against it tbh. If they're going to pick him, Boyd should be the one moved. Oates has enough trouble positionally on the left let alone shifting him to the right. I get why Walters would do it; we probably do need him coming out of our own end. Then again, it wouldn't be such an issue if we weren't picking hopeless cunts like Guerra and Myles and using second rowers up the middle.

  12. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Goates is a must. But agree he must play on the left. Boyd will handle right wing easily.

  13. Magic AJ Parker

Looks like Wallace will be unavailable due to inury and NSW will go with Peats.

Farah really has fallen out of favour.

  14. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    Get this....

Now they're saying Thurston is long odds. Boyd has firmed and Slater could well be left out. And O'Neill will still be picked.

Meanwhile Bennett is being a dickhead about Milford.

Fuck knows what's happening with Myles but apparently Wallace is quite likely to play in his stead.

This is the most disorganised camp we've had for 10 years.

  15. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

This could end so badly. We could be without Thurston, Scott and Inglis. Myles could come through fit, which is kind of gay considering his decline, or he could be ruled out in which case we could potentially see Thaiday starting up front which would be even worse.

And they'll probably pick O'Neill and leave Holmes out.

    Jesus fucking christ.

  16. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    Confirmed. Peats has been selected.

Well after Bennett gave Walters an ultimatum, of course he was gonna name him in the 17. Bennett is loony tunes.
