If there's one thing I'm sick of seeing its the one out shit the Cowboys do in attack all the time and the same predictable block plays.

  3. AVA T Delonge

Fuck Jack Bird has such a punchable face. Hoping Sharks lose here.

  4. Wilson SB Wilson

Some of the worst refereeing you'll ever see.

Trust Fifita crabbing across the field to seal Cronulla's fate, like fuck dude your whole season depended on you just taking a hit up through the guts so one of your halves could have a shot at field goal but you just couldn't resist.

  7. Magic AJ Parker

Oh Fifita, so so so bad.

  8. Paddy P Orr

    Wooo fuck yessssss.

  9. Toolman TR Man

lol at the dumb cunt thinking he could take charge of giving the team speech at the 80 min mark. but then again the 2nd dumbest member of their team is the captain. both of them need to be told to shut up, they're so full of themselves they always think they're gonna be the ones to come up with the match winning play despite making several match losing plays over their careers.

  10. Magic AJ Parker

    Flanagan is so cringey.

By all means have a whinge but don't bring your clipboard full of excuses into the presser and pick your points better ffs, was just talking out of his ass for most of it.

Taumalolo with 256 metres, 37 tackles and a try. What a gun.

How much has Morgan improved since the mid season mark? Always looked like Thurston's shadow before and a glorified centre. Now is a genuine good half.

Gallen's blow up when he lost the ball was golden to see. Such salt.

  16. Paddy P Orr

lol I've often wondered that myself.

How's Flanagan's 5 points in the press conference and only one of them is even close to being right. Fuck me.

    You've lost the plot.

Brailey was tackling Morgan, 100% not played at or a charged down, it should be our ball.
The ball absolutely goes through Fifita's legs, play on.
Taumololo clearly pulls the ball out from Lewis, how the fuck can you even argue this one?
Gallen's supposed 'knock on' was call a penalty literally 2 minutes before that to get the Cowboys level. I think they're both knock ons but if you're calling one a spade you have to call the other a spade. I think this call is the worst of them all.

The only one that he pointed out which was nonsense was the Leutele tackled without the ball. That made absolutely no difference, it was a dumb as fuck play. Baffles me how you can argue any of the other ones but I'm sure you'll give it your best shot and enbarrass yourself

He talks about the Maloney call being wrong and that Lachlan Coote was offside. He's 100% wrong on both counts. Coote was 5 metres behind the kicker and if you intentionally take out the lead kick chaser in a try scoring situation it is a sin bin. Interesting that you didn't mention this embarrassing start to the press conference after he said 'now I know how Trent Barrett feels'.

You're 100% wrong on the Brailey call. How can you and Flanagan not be aware of that interpretation that's been happening for 5 or so years? If you're making a tackle and your arm comes in contact with the ball you are playing at the ball. Very simple. This ruling is also what makes the Lewis call wrong, so I agree with you on that one.

Agreed with you on Leutele. Why that's even mentioned in the press conference is beyond me. Just sour grapes over the correct Maloney decision I guess.

100% with the referees on the Gallen call. Gallen gets up, tries to play it too quick and drops it, it has been a knock on all year since they changed the interpretation in the off season. The call on Fensom is just not the same IMO. It's a 3 man tackle and Prior makes the ball come loose while Fensom is on his back. I'm all for consistency, so I can see why this irks you, bu they're different situations; one bloke trying to play the ball too quickly and one bloke being worked over in the wrestle with hands all over the ball. So we don't have to call them both a spade because one's a spade and one's a jack hammer.

I can understand the gripe over the Fifita call but once again I have no dramas with it. I'd be shaking my head if they made that call against Croker or Rapana I guess but I'd also realise they're a coin flip all year. Realistically if you blatantly lose control over the ball and people are arguing whether it went straight down or a centimetre backwards it probably deserves to be a knock on. I realise you'll shake your head at this and so will heaps of others but that's how the knock on rule was always really meant to be interpreted IMO and some refs do, some don't, that's the problem there.

And don't forget the worst call of the entire match was awarding the first try to Cronulla.

But if we're seriously talking about embarrassing ourselves you can't outdo Flanagan, though plenty have tried. Was 100% sour grapes over 5 calls. 3 he was 100% wrong about and 2 50/50s. End of the day Cronulla were pretty pathetic and couldn't win a home semi against a team with over 2 million worth of the salary cap on the sideline. If we go back and look at turning points in a season Canberra flogging Cronulla 5 weeks ago was it. They got flogged by Brisbane the following week and have been a shell of the team they were mid season afterwards.

I know the feeling of being robbed. It's a horrible feeling. But there is a very obvious reason the NRL community were ropable after the Manly game and only the Sharks community feeling the same after theirs.

Adding on to Julian's post re: the Fifita knock on. I'm almost certain the Cowboys had a situation with a ball going through the hands and being called a knock on in the same game. So for arguments sake, I'd say they were consistent with that interpretation in the game.
